The Standard Course

This course qualifies low flight time pilots as first officers in the airline industry and satisfies regulatory requirements by providing jet orientation academic training, crew coordination and type training in a full flight simulator for specific Boeing and Airbus airplanes. Successful completion of this course provides trainees with a type rating with limitations for operating experience.

The course can be offered as an integrated training solution or in a modular format. Depending upon a pilot's level of Multi-Crew and/or jet experience, the course can be shortened.

Airline Flight Experience - MyTravel Airways A320

After completing the modular First Officer Jet Bridge Transition course, as described in the standard course above, the qualified student will be transitioned into base and line training as a First Officer flying an A320 for MyTravel, a United Kingdom based airline. The qualified student will be guaranteed 150 hours of flight time with the airline. The qualified student will also be eligible for additional flight time contingent upon the crew staffing needs of the airline and, should an opening exist, could be offered employment with the airline upon successful completion of line training.

In order to qualify for the program, a student will first go through an assessment that will include a psychometric test, interview and simulator. Depending upon experience and the results of the assessment, the student may then begin the modular Alteon First Officer Jet Bridge Transition course.

After completing their type rating course, the qualified student will move on to conduct base and line training. The base and line training will be provided by MyTravel.
